A review. Simultaneous estimation plays a very important role in pharmaceutical world as it is very feasible and time saving. For the multi component anal. various techniques like spectrophotometric techniques (UV-VIS, IR, NMR and MASS spectrometry) and chromatog. techniques (Thin Layer Chromatog., High Performance Liquid Chromatog., Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatog., High Pressure Thin Layer Chromatog. and Gas Chromatog.) is used. These techniques provide high degree of specificity and selectivity and further provide the high degree of assurance that these techniques fit for the simultaneous estimation of the pharmaceutical dosage form. Chromatog. and spectrophotometric techniques together develop new hyphenated techniques which are useful for the simultaneous estimation and impurity profiling. The simultaneous anal. anal. provides specificity and assurance for the identification of the chem. entities in the pharmaceutical formulation. The main objective behind the anal. estimation is to provide the assurance that the particular formulation contains the equal amount of active pharmaceutical ingredient as mentioned in the label. To complete the study, the researchers used 2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride (cas: 611-75-6) .

Application In Synthesis of 2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride《Simultaneous UV-spectrophotometric estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride and salbutamol sulphate by area under curve method in combined dosage form》 was published in 2015. The authors were Rele, Rajan V., and the article was included in《Pharmacia Sinica》. The author mentioned the following in the article:

The objective of the study was to develop a simple, accurate, precise and rapid UV spectrophotometric, area under curve (AUC), method for simultaneous estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride and salbutamol sulfate from combined dosage form. The validation was carried out by using ICH guidelines for the determination of bromhexine hydrochloride and salbutamol sulfate by using 0.1N hydrochloric acid as the solvent in pharmaceutical dosage form. The proposed area under curve method involves the measurement of area at selected anal. wavelength ranges and performing the anal. using “Cramer’s rule and Matrix method”. The two anal. wavelengths ranges were used i.e. 240-250 nm and 220-230 nm for estimation of bromhexine hydrochloride and salbutamol sulfate resp. The linearity of the proposed method was found in the concentration range of 2-14 μg /mL (r2 = 0.9998) for bromhexine hydrochloride and salbutamol sulfate (r2 = 0.9999) resp. The percentage mean recovery was found to be 100.083% for bromhexine hydrochloride and 100.111 % for salbutamol sulfate resp. The method was statistically validated for its linearity, accuracy and precision as per ICH guidelines. Both intra and inter day variation showed less percentage (%) RSD values indicating high grade of precision of this method. Abstract: New electrochem. methods for the determination of bromhexine based on differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and flow injection anal. with amperometric detection (FIA-ED) were developed using a glassy carbon paste electrode. Optimal supporting electrolyte for DPV measurement was methanol/Britton-Robinson buffer pH 9 (80:20, volume/volume). In the case of FIA-ED, optimal conditions were as follows: detection potential +1.1 V, flow rate 1.0 cm3 min-1, injected volume 0.1 cm3, and carrier solution methanol-ten times diluted B-R buffer of pH 9 (80:20, volume/volume). Detection limit was 2.0 × 10-6 mol dm-3 for DPV and 3.1 × 10-7 mol dm-3 for FIA-ED. The applicability of the newly developed methods was verified by the determination of bromhexine in pharmaceutical preparations (tablets of Bromhexin-EGIS and Bromhexin 8 BC). The article was appeared in 《Molecules》. They have made some progress in their research.Formula: C14H21Br2ClN2 The article mentions the following:

We develop an electrochem. sensor for the determination of bromhexine hydrochloride (BHC), a widely use mucolytic drug. The sensor is prepared by electrodeposition of cobalt oxides (CoOx) on a glassy carbon electrode modified with carboxylated single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT). A synergistic effect between CoOx and SWCNT is observed, leading to a significant improvement in the BHC electrooxidation current. Based on cyclic voltammetry studies at varying scan rates, we conclude that the electrochem. oxidation of BHC is under mixed diffusion-adsorption control. The proposed sensor allows the amperometric determination of BHC in a linear range of 10-500μM with a low applied voltage of 0.75 V. The designed sensor provides reproducible measurements, is not affected by common interfering substances, and shows excellent performance for the anal. of BHC in pharmaceutical preparations And 2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride (cas: 611-75-6) was used in the research process.

An efficient, sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed and validated for the determination of Bromhexine hydrochloride (BRH), in bulk drug and its pharmaceutical formulations. The method is based on the formation of Schiff base with pnitrobenzaldehyde (PNBZ) the reaction of drug with reagent gives a bright yellow color. The so formed colored species absorbance was measured at its absorption maximum (λmax) 410 nm. The Beer’s law has been obeyed in the concentration range 5-25 μg/mL. The optical parameters were calculated as 2.01561×104 (L/mol/cm), 0.01866 (μg/cm2), molar absorptivity and Sandell sensitivity resp. The LOD and LOQ of the proposed method were calculated 0.1851 (μg/mL), 0.6165 (μg/mL) resp. All the variables were studied to optimize the reaction conditions. No interference was observed in the presence of common pharmaceutical excipients. The validity of the method was tested by analyzing BRH in its pharmaceutical formulations and critically tested for its accuracy by statistical tests. Good recoveries were obtained by the developed method; the obtained results were critically analyzed and successfully employed for the determination of BRH in its pharmaceutical dosage forms.2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride (cas: 611-75-6) were involved in the experimental procedure.

The article was appeared in 《Journal of Physical Chemistry A》. They have made some progress in their research.Electric Literature of C14H21Br2ClN2 The article mentions the following:

Previous studies have revealed significant discrepancies between d. functional theory (DFT)-calculated and exptl. nuclear quadrupolar coupling constants (CQ) for chlorine atoms, particularly in ionic solids. Various aspects of the computations are systematically investigated here, including the choice of the DFT functional, basis set convergence, and geometry optimization protocol. The effects of fast (fs) time-scale dynamics are probed using mol. dynamics (MD) and nuclear quantum effects (NQEs) are considered using path-integral MD calculations It is shown that the functional choice is the most important factor related to improving the accuracy of the quadrupolar coupling calculations, and that functionals beyond the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) level, such as hybrid and meta-GGA functionals, are required for good correlations with experiment The influence of mol. dynamics and NQEs is less important than the functional choice in the studied systems. A method which involves scaling the calculated quadrupolar coupling constant is proposed here; its application leads to good agreement with exptl. data.
