General procedure: DIPEA (778 muIota, 4.46 mmol) was added dropwise to a stirred solution of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4- (2H-tetrazol-5-yl)benzenesulfonamide (300 mg, 1.1 14 mmol, Intermediate 17′) and 2- (bromomethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran (285 muIota, 2.228 mmol, commercial source: Aldrich) in N,N- Dimethylformamide (DMF) (3714 muIota) at rt under nitrogen.
