The organic phase was concentrated and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (petroleum ether/EtOAc = 10:1 4: 1) to give N-(4-bromo-2- methylbenzyl)-2-(tert-butyl)thiazole-5-carboxamide (220 mg, yield: 60percent) as a yellow solid.
