Six 3,4-dihaloanilines I (R = Br, Cl, F; R1 = Br, Cl, F, iodo) were converted by the sulfo-mix variation of the Skraup reaction to mixtures of 5,6- and 6,7-dihaloquinolines, II and III resp.
