A new Cd (II) organic coordination polymers [Cd(dbtec)0.5(H2O)3]·H2O (1), was constructed based on 3,6-dibromobenzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylic acid (H4dbtec), and characterized by elemental anal. (EA), IR spectroscopy (IR), powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD), and single crystal X-ray diffraction.
