Organic bromides such as alkyl bromides are used as fumigants in agriculture to control insects. 70-23-5, formula is C5H7BrO3, Name is Ethyl 3-bromo-2-oxopropanoate. Ethylene bromide is one of the commercially important organic bromides which are the component of leaded gasoline. Synthetic Route of 70-23-5.
Pokhodylo, N. T.;Tupychak, M. A.;Obushak, M. D. research published 《 Metal-Free Synthesis of 1,5-Disubstituted 1,2,3-Triazoles》, the research content is summarized as follows. The main synthetic approaches to 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles were considered. It was shown that the cycloaddition of aryl azides to phosphorus keto ylides provide a convenient method for the synthesis of 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles, especially in cases, where the target compounds contain hydrophilic substituents. An alternative approach to the synthesis of 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles by decarboxylation of 1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylic acids is proposed. New 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles, 1H-1,2,3-triazolyl-1-benzoic acids, 1H-1,2,3-triazole-5-carboxylic acids, and 1H-1,2,3-triazole-5-acetic acids are convenient precursors for further modification.
70-23-5, Ethyl bromopyruvate molecular formula is C5H7BrO3 and its molecular weight is 195.01 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.
Ethyl bromopyruvate is used in a synthesis of thioxothiazolidines from carbon disulfide and primary amines.
Ethyl bromopyruvate is a chemical inhibitor that inhibits the enzyme pyruvate dehydrogenase, which is responsible for the conversion of pyruvic acid to acetyl-CoA. This inhibition leads to a decrease in ATP levels and can cause metabolic disorders. Ethyl bromopyruvate is used as an anthelmintic drug and in asymmetric synthesis. It is also used in the synthesis of thiostrepton, an antibiotic that has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae., Synthetic Route of 70-23-5
