The article was titled 《Manganese-Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Quinolines Enabled by π-π Interaction**》.Synthetic Route of C5BrMnO5 The article contains the following contents:
The non-noble metal-catalyzed asym. hydrogenation of N-heteroaromatics, quinolines, is reported. A new chiral pincer manganese catalyst showed outstanding catalytic activity in the asym. hydrogenation of quinolines, affording high yields and enantioselectivities (up to 97% ee). A turnover number of 3840 was reached at a low catalyst loading (S/C=4000), which is competitive with the activity of most effective noble metal catalysts for this reaction. The precise regulation of the enantioselectivity were ensured by a π-π interaction. Bromopentacarbonylmanganese(I)(cas: 14516-54-2) has many other uses. It is used in the formation of (eta6-arene)tricarbonylmanganese(I) by reacting with arene (arene= hexamethyl benzene, 1,2,4,5-tetramethyl benzene, mesitylene, p-xylene and toluene) in the presence silver salt.Synthetic Route of C5BrMnO5
