2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride(cas: 611-75-6) is intended to support the body’s mechanisms for clearing mucus from the respiratory tract. Bromhexine is a synthetic derivative of the herbal active ingredient vasicine. It has been shown to increase the proportion of serous bronchial secretion, making it more easily expectorated. It is indicated as secretolytic therapy in bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport.Computed Properties of C14H21Br2ClN2

The article contains the following contents:

The aim of the research work was to formulate and evaluate novel orodispersible delivery of Bromhexine hydrochloride in the form of oral fast disintegrating films. Formulated films offers a various advantages over the liquid formulation of Bromhexine hydrochloride like ease of handling and administration, expected increased bioavailability due to elimination of hepatic first-pass metabolism These fast disintegrating films were prepared by solvent casting methods using HPMC E-3 and PVP k-30 as film forming polymers. Cardamom extract, sucralose were used as flavoring agent and sweetening agent to impart pleasant taste. To decrease the disintegration time of formulations sodium starch glycolate was used as disintegrating agent. All the prepared novel films formulations (F1-F8) was evaluated for their, weight variations, thickness tensile strength, percentage elongation, folding endurance, surface pH, in-vitro disintegration, drug content, in-vitro drug release. In the time range 40-80 s all the film formulation was completely disintegrated. Formulations F1 and F2 showed 90% in-vitro drug release within 8 min. The film showed an excellent stability at least for 3 mo when stored at 40° C and 75% in humidity.2,4-Dibromo-6-((cyclohexyl(methyl)amino)methyl)aniline hydrochloride (cas: 611-75-6) were involved in the experimental procedure.
