Example 10 Synthesis of Compound 5 To a 20 mL DMSO solution of 2,8-dibromodibenzofuran (1 g, 3.07 mmol) was added bispinacolatiodiboron (1.74 g, 6.75 mmol), KOAc (2 g, 21 mmol) and PdCl2(PPh3)2 (149 mg, 0.21 mmol), and the solution was stirred at 80 C. for 24 h.
