General procedure: A suspension of dihydroisoquinolinone 8 (2.0 mmol), aryl/heteroaryl bromide (3.0 mmol), palladium acetate (0.2 mmol) and BINAP (0.2 mmol) in dioxane (10.0 mL) was degassed with argon.
