General procedure: An equimolar mixture of isatin/5-bromoisatin and an aromatic primary amine were introduced into an Erlenmeyer flask. Ethanol (1 mL) and a few drops of acetic acid were added. The Erlenmeyer flask was placed in an ultrasonic bath filled with water (80 Hz,100%), the temperature was adjusted at 40C.
