The mixture was poured into ice- water and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with saturated NaHCO3 aqueous solution and brine, dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated in vacuo to yield the product as a yellow solid (5.3g, 80 % yield).
