After cooling to room temperature (25 C), the insoluble material was filtered through celite. The solvent was distilled off the filtrate under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by column chromatographyN- (bicyclo [4.2.0] octa-1,3,5-trien-3-yl)-N-phenyl-bicyclo[4.2.0] octa-1 (6), 2,4-triene-3-amine(9.16 g).
